New Delhi: A right posture is very essential part for health and it is directly attached with the performance of your body. Experts say that one must be careful about all the things.
The Centre for Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Sciences, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) organized a Public Lecture on “Effects of Bad Posture on Health and Performance”.
The Lecture was delivered by Dr. Moazzam Husain Khan, Assistant Professor, Centre for Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Sciences, JMI who discussed the benefits of good postures and disadvantages of bad postures. He interacted with the audience and gave them tips and examples of good postures that contribute to once health and performance.
A good posture is one that places minimal strain on one’s muscles, tendons, ligaments and bones, he informed the audience. Good posture also develops self-esteem and conserve energy, he added.
