Lalu hints to go with JDU to nullify Modi factor in Bihar Assembly Polls

Patna: Amid the speculations that what will be the future of the temporarily tuning between the RJD and JDU in Bihar, RJD chief Lalu Yadv hinted that to face the challenges from Narendra Modi and BJP, there is a need to ignite the torch of Mandal for likeminded parties. He was interacting with media during the two day 18th foundation day function of RJD in Vaishali.
On the occasion he said that the vote share of both RJD and JD(U) in the recent Parliamentary poll in the state is more the BJP. He assess the performance of both the parties and said that the vote share for RJD and JDU combined in the election will go up to 45 percent and the data is enough to defeat BJP in the state.
Needless to say, Lalu Yadav has played crucial role in shaping the politics of Bihar earlier and despite the fact that he is out of power for about one decade, still he is crucial in the politics of Bihar.
After the emergence of Narendra Modi factor on the national horizon, he has come close to Nitish Kumar.
Both Nitish Kumar and Lalu yadav comes from Janata Dal which came to power under Lalu Prasad in 1989 and continued to rule the state till 2005. In 2005, Nitish Kumar became the Chief Minister of Bihar with the help of BJP.
