Delhi: The fight of cancer has never been easy and for Emraan and his 4 year
old son Ayaan, it was far more difficult. After revealing the first look of his
book, Delhi C.M Arvind Kejriwal launches Emraan Hashmi’s ‘Kiss of Life’ based
on his hardships when his son ‘Ayaan’ suffered from cancer. Present at the
event was Bilal Siddiqui who has co-write the book with Emraan Hashmi.
With
the book, Emraan hopes to provide comfort and guidance to those whose loved
ones are battling cancer or any other critical illness. The book is co-written
by Emraan Hashmi with Bilal Siddiqui and is published by PENGUIN BOOKS.
Emraan
Hashmi who played a batman for his son ‘Ayaan’ considers his that journey as a
very difficult part of his life. His son ‘Ayaan’ fought cancer at the age of 4
with Wilms tumor.
Emraan
says “This book is not just about the cancer but it is about family, your
emotions, your hope, your lifestyle and much more. My 4 year old son taught so
much to me that even 10 wisemen couldn’t teach me in my entire career.”
Arvind
Kejriwal congratulated Emraan Hashmi for the battle he fought. While praising
Emraan and Bilal for writing the book, Kejriwal called Ayaan as a superstar
than Emraan.
Kejriwal
said, “Since Emraan has money so he could go to Canada for his son’s best
treatment but in our country there are so many people who don’t have enough
money and they die of such diseases. It is the responsibility of Government to
invest sufficiently in public services so that no individual in this country
will die because he/she didn’t have the money for the treatment and in Delhi we
are trying our best to make that possible.”
