AAP Crisis: BJP demanded Kejriwal’s resignation on Jain Hawala issues

New Delhi:  Amid the revelations made by a section of the media today about Delhi Minister Satyender Jain’s involvement in a Hawala Scam, Delhi BJP has demanded the resignation of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on the issue.

Delhi BJP President Shri Satish Upadhyay has said that with today’s revelation it is clear that the initial raids took place in 2011 and the preliminary inquiry established around June, 2013 that three companies of Satender Jain, namely Indo Metallic, Akim Chand & Prayas were involved in a major Hawala Scam of Kolkata’s Jainendra Mishra.

Satyender Jain who was then planning to contest election himself resigned from these companies Directorship but his wife & father continued to remain there.

BJP has said that  Aam Aadmi Party leaders who are trying to play political victim card in the matter should very well know that neither in 2011 when the initial raids took place nor in 2013 when the Commissioner of Income Tax filed the report involving Satyender Jain’s three companies, BJP was nowhere in power and Satyender Jain too was just a common trader without known political affiliation. Hence it is certain that the inquiry was fair under the law and the report is a binding proof of Satyender Jain’s involvement in Hawala Scam.
