Karbi Bhawan and Dimasa Bhawan

Foundation stone laid for the Karbi Bhawan and Dimasa Bhawan of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council, Diphu and North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council, Haflong, at Dwarka, New Delhi By Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

Karbi Bhawan and Dimaa Bhawan will be constructed with a cost of Rs 130 crore and they will give an identity to their unique culture on the world map.

International Astronautical Congress (IAC) to be held in Washington on 21-25th October, 2019.

 Puri, Odisha: Jagannath Rath Yatra begins
The world famous Jagannath Rath Yatra begins in the Puri, Odisha.
It is the nine day long journey of god Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra.
The journey covers 3 K M  distance from Jagannath temple to Shree Gundicha temple.
The deities of all the three god  Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra stay there and it return with the journey khown as Bahuda Yatra in the same month.

24 June: Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand: Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) troops have discovered the seven dead bodies near Nanda Devi East, District Pithoragarh in Uttarakhand which is believed of the missing mountaineers.
  • Out of these Seven mountaineers, 4 were British, 2 were Americans, and 1 each from Australia and India.
  • 8th body of these mountaineers is still missing for which operation is going on.

22 June: Air Traffic Flow Management - Central Command Centre in  New Delhi
  • Hardeep Singh Puri, Minister of State (I/c) for Civil Aviation today inaugurated the Air Traffic Flow Management - Central Command Centre at Vasant Kunj, New Delhi.
  • The C-ATFM system integrates flight data from various subsystems like ATC Automation System, flight updates and flight update messages.
  • The C-ATFM system is supported by 36 Flow Management Positions (FMP) at various airports including Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru and Hyderabad among others.
21 June: Establishment of 'Gokul Grams' Under Rashtriya Gokul Mission
  • Funds have been sanctioned under RashtriyaGokul Mission for setting up of 21 Gokul Grams as Integrated Cattle Development Centres. As on date, 4 Gokul grams (Varanasi, Mathura, Patiala and Phora) have been completed and work is under progress in remaining 17 gokul grams.

20 June: National Yoga Olympiad- 2019- New Delhi
  • The 4th National Yoga Olympiad concluded at All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi on 20 June 2019. Mizoram team has not come this year, she said we may strive to make all 36 States and UTs participate in the Yoga Olympiad from the next year.

  • Upper Primary (Girls) – The Gold medal was bagged by the Himachal Pradesh team, the Silver medal by the Assam team and Bronze medal by the Kerala team.

  • Upper Primary (Girls) – The Gold medal was bagged by the NVS team, the Silver medal by the DMS,RIE, Mysore team and Bronze medal by the DMS,RIE, Bhopal team.
19 June: 12TH ReCAAPISC capacity building workshop in New Delhi 
  • Diamond Jubilee of the Oldest Naval Air Squadron: Indian Navy's first Naval Air Squadron 550 celebrated its Diamond Jubilee at naval base Kochi. 
  • Completing 60 glorious years of yeoman service to the nation, Indian Naval Air Squadron (INAS) 550 has played a key role in training the Navy's Maritime Reconnaissance pilots and observers and has provided invaluable maritime support to our fleet.
  • The squadron has flown 14 different types of aircraft starting with the Sea land Aircraft to the Dornier maritime reconnaissance aircraft being presently flown.
