Australian batter Steve Smith has become only the second cricketer to score consecutive centuries in the Big Bash League (BBL) of Australia. It is noted that he scored 101(56) in the last game as well during the Big Bash League of Australia. The right-hander Smith smacked an unbeaten 125 run on 66 deliveries, the fifth-highest score in BBL history. Steve Smith was born on 02 June 1989.
- Steve Smith started his test debuts against Pakistan at Lord on 13 July 2010. He started his first One Day International against West Indies at Melbourne Cricket Ground on 19 February 2010. Begins his T20 against Pakistan at Melbourne Cricket Ground on 05 February 2010.
- Earlier, Smith scored his first BBL century against the Adelaide Strikers in Coffs Harbour.
- His century was unique in terms as it has included five boundaries and nine sixes.
- Smith completed his both his centuries with a six which displays his confidence.
- Smith finished his 1st hundred only in 56 balls and 2nd hundred came in 56 balls. Amazingly he completed his 1st hundred completed with a SIX and 2nd Hundred also completed with a SIX.
