Delhi: The entire results which has given a new avenue to the dream of BJP leaders and especially to Narendra Modi, has proved once again that fact that nothing is impossible. The entire think-tank of Congress can’t succeeded in reaching Congress and its alliance in at least triple digit. But Modi and his company scripted history for the first time in the history of independence India that only Congress can perform the landslide and alone get mandate.
Dr Harsh Vardhan said his contention that this was a “Game changing election” has been borne out through the single-party majority given to the BJP by the people.
“This was the first truly first 21st century election because 65% of the electorate attained majority after 2000 and it is their feelings and aspirations which flowed through the result. –which was game changing”, he said.
From now on feelings of religion, caste and privilege will no longer matter. This is the first election in which people rejected rhetoric and abstractions and united behind the leader who brought to the table evidence of his ability to govern. That is why I saw the rules of politics have changed forever, Dr Harsh Vardhan said.
In his campaign speeches Narendra Modi reached out especially to the millennial population (those born after 1980) and promised them an end to their gloom under UPA rule. His message to them was simple – Forget the baggage of the past, embrace prosperity.
“I hope that Congress and all other parties will see the light and cooperate with the BJP-led government to put India back on the rails of progress. We will welcome a responsible opposition and I personally will await all their positive suggestions,” Dr Harsh Vardhan said.
