PVR Cinemas and Uber team up to offer end-to-end luxury

New Delhi: PVR Director's Cut, the luxury label of PVR Cinemas, and Uber, the global on-demand-car services company, announced they have entered an exclusive countrywide partnership through the Director’s Cut Privilege Card Programme launched by PVR Cinemas earlier this year. Under the terms of the agreement Uber will offer special perks to PVR Director’s Cut Privilege Cardholders signing up to its on-demand car booking application.

This marks yet a new step in PVR Director’s Cut’s ongoing endeavor to further raise hospitality service benchmarks and enrich guest experience. Only this time, with the active collaboration of Uber, PVR reaches out of its premises to offer its guests a luxury experience from the comfort of their home. With Uber, the journey for the PVR Director’s Cut luxury cinematic experience truly begins from every guest’s doorstep. This also sets a first globally for Uber to exclusively tie up with a leading like minded retail brand.

“We are very excited to welcome Uber as our luxury cinema membership programme’s mobility partner” says Renaud Palliere, CEO International Development of PVR Ltd. The outstanding personalized services offered by Uber complements our brand, where luxury, comfort and customer care are an absolute priority. With Uber as our mobility partner, we extend to our guests an hospitality experience that is second to none, starting from their doorstep, ensuring a smooth and safe ride to Director’s Cut in Delhi, their favorite entertainment destination. Given both companies’ shared customer service values, we envision extending this partnership to the other PVR Cinemas properties countrywide in the near future.”Gagan Bathia, General Manager of Uber Delhi, to add: “We are delighted to tie up with PVR in India and contribute to PVR’s guests experience in a unique and unprecedented fashion heretofore.”
