The Delhi Cabinet in its meeting chaired by the Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal approved the following important decisions. The cabinet granted its approval to the Phase-IV project of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC).<br />

 The decision was announced by the Deputy Chief Minister, Shri Manish Sisodia and the Transport Minister, Shri Kailash Gahlot.<br />
<br />
According to the cabinet decision, the Phase –IV project consists of following six corridors with the total length of 103.93 kilometres:<br />
<br />

<li>Rithala-Bawana-Narela total kms 21.73 (elevated 21.73 kms)</li>
<li>Janakpuri West-RK Ashram total 28.92 kms (elevated 21.18 kms)</li>
<li>Mukundpur-Maujpur total 12.54 kms – all elevated.</li>
<li>Inderlok-Indraprastha total 12.58 kms (all underground)</li>
<li>Aero City-Tuglakabad total 20.2 kms (elevated 5.58 kms)</li>
<li>Lajpat Nagar – Saket G Block total 7.96 kms (elevated 5.89 kms)</li>
</ul>
There will be a total of 79 Stations in this phase.<br />
The total contribution of the Delhi government works out to Rs 9707.50 Crore.<br />
The Phase-IV project commencing date is 1st January 2019 and the DMRC plans to execute all the six corridors simultaneously. The project completion date is estimated as 3st December 2024 for the all six corridors.<br />
<br />
After the completion of Phase-IV the total length of the Delhi MRTS in Delhi/NCR would be approximately 453.58 kilometers.</div>

In another major achievement, Indian Space Research Organisation’s (ISRO) has launched the communication satellite GSAT-7A from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) in Sriharikota.</div>

It was launched by Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV-F11).</div>

The GSLV-F11 lifted off from the Second Launch Pad at SDSC at 04:10 pm IST, carrying 2250 kg GSAT-7A and about 19 minutes later, injected GSAT-7A into a Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit (GTO) of 170.8 km x 39127 km which is very close to the intended orbit.</div>

In a bid to give a tribute on the sixth sixth anniversary of this rape and fatal assault case of ‘Nirbhaya’, Delhi Bus movie is set to release on 28 December 2018. Filmmaker Tariq Khan has joined hands with director Sharique Minhaj for their upcoming Hindi feature film inspired from the painful, tragic and embarrassing ‘Nirbhaya Case’ in Delhi.</div>

The film is presented by Vipul Shah. The title role is being played by Haryana based Divya Singh who was earlier seen anchoring TV shows. S.K. Das, the creative director of the film who has also partnered in writing the screenplay and dialogue is also playing the role of a police officer. Dr. S.K. Das works in Odisa and that too in the revenue department of Bhubaneswar as S.D.M. Das has earlier made two short films too.</div>

Director  Sharique Minhaj says, “The shocking incident of ‘Nirbhaya Case’ has shocked the entire nation and was widely condemned. I was shaken by this incident too. I took my screenplay and dialogue writer Amit Gupta and S.K. Das to study the entire charge sheet and make a film on it. We have taken a bit of liberty and have added some other scenes too, so that it didn’t turn out to be a documentary film. On the whole the film is inspired from the true story. Now, henceforth, our young generation and our government should awake and see that such a gruesome act never occurs again.”</div>

“Delhi Bus” features Divya Singh, Aanjjan Srivastav, Neelima Azeem, Sanjay Singh, S.K. Das and others in its starcast. The film is produced by Tariq Khan, directed and conceptualised by Shariq Minhaj on a screenplay and dialogue by Amit Gupta and S.K. Das. Ashfaq Khan Haque and Arav have provided the musical score. Jehangir Mulla has cranked the camera. Sunil Yadav is the editor while Shahid Khan is the line producer. It is a Vipul Shah presentation.</div>
