<p>New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister, Sheila Dikshit has stated that the Government of Delhi is committed to provide efficient delivery of public services through its various offices. In its Endeavour to give maximum comfort to the visitors to public offices, it was decided to renovate Food &amp; Supplies Circle Offices spread out throughout the city. Dikshit was speaking after inaugurating renovated Circle Office of Food and Supply Department at Laxmi Bai Nagar, New Delhi.</p>

<p>Dikshit stated that the Delhi Government is committed to provide not only the comfort but empower poor people by making them aware about their rights and also the timely delivery of public services. She further stated that the Circle offices No. 40 Laxmi Bai Nagar, have become modern as well as swanky. The entire office have been given the new looks apart from computerization.</p>

<p>The new office would go a long way in bringing a positive change in work culture apart from enhancing the efficiency of the staff, hence, benefiting people as they would get their services without any wait and any inconvenience. With an objective to make Delhi city as a first ‘Kerosene-free city’ in the country, Kerosene-free Delhi Scheme was launched and in the last two months 25,000 families have been given free gas connections. Another 40,000 connections will be distributed by the end of March, 2013.</p>

<p>Speaking on the occasionYusuf said that remaining Circle Offices of Food &amp; Civil Supplies would be renovated in a phase manner. DSIIDC would renovate all circle offices. Already 15 have been completed and the remaining circle offices are expected to be completed by 31<sup>st</sup> March this year. He stated that Delhi has witnessed an unprecedented era of development during last 14 years. The Minster added that computerization in Food and Supply Department is providing a helping hand to all concerned in respect of availability of food items under rationing.</p>
