In a bid to set the new history for the ruling NDA especially for BJP, it has succedded in ensuring the victory to its leader as a Vice President.  NDA candidate  Naidu received 516 votes, Gandhi got 244 votes.<br />

 The term of the incumbent Hamid Ansariwill end on August 10.  Needless to say, Ansari has held the post for two consecutive terms.<br />

Naidu will be administered the oath of office by President Ram Nath Kovind at a function at Rashtrapati Bhavan on August 11.<br />

The Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has congratulated Shri M Venkaiah Naidu on being elected the 13th Vice President of India.<br />

Emraan Hashmi, Vidyut Jammwal, Ileana D’Cruz, Esha Gupta and Sanjay Mishra has
been shot on real and raw locations of Rajasthan which includes Jodhpur,
Jaisalmer, Bikaner, Ranautar, and Kuldhara. Producers Bhushan Kumar and Milan
Luthria spared no expense in showcasing places which gave a rugged and rustic
feel, as opposed to creating them on sets.</span></div>

<span style="font-size: 12.8px;">The crew did extensive recces
with local line producers and guides in remote desert areas, where there are no
structures, even network, for miles.</span></div>

Though people got a glimpse of
these stunning locations in the teaser, not many know about the travel time
that the actors had to put in to reach these locations. While shooting in
Ranautar, the actors had to travel for 103 kms each way every day. Relay
security teams were posted every few Km to convey messages on walkie talkies.
The village itself was unique, with inhabitants who drink only goat's milk all
theirs lives, with not a piece of grain, vegetables, or meat. </div>

The climax was shot in Asia's
largest limestone quarry, 58 kms from Jaisalmer city.  Added to this was the 330 Kms distance each
between Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, and Bikaner. <span style="font-size: 12.8px;">At the end of the shoot, Milan
did a rough calculation and was shocked to realize that they had traveled more
than 5000 Km in all.</span></div>

Within the famous but
extremely narrow blue lanes of Jodhpur, car transport was tough, and relays of
bouncers were set in place. The actors traveled in auto rickshaws, with Emraan
and Esha once getting into the wrong one in the throng of fans.</div>

Apart from this, the cast and
crew battled extreme ends of the weather spectrum. The temperature in January
when the shoot began was was two degrees, and when it ended in March it was up
to 38 degrees, with accompanying sandstorms.</div>

The famous designer Manish Malhotra is set to designe the costumes for the play biggest theatre play 'Mughal-e-Azam-The Musical'. After four sold out seasons in Mumbai, finally Nation’s biggest theatre productions “Mughal-E-Azam - The Musical”comes to the capital city Delhi to mesmerize audiences. As today the entire team of the play interacted with the media in Press Conference held at India Habitat Centre.</div>

Present in the event was the famous designer Manish Malhotra, who for the first time in his 26-year career, designing the costumes for a play. Along with him the director of the play Feroz Abbas Khan and Choreographer Mayuri Upadhaya were also there to grace the event. Even Director at Shapoorji Pallonji group Deepesh Salgia and Deepak Bajaj Executive Director at NCPA too shared their presence.</div>

The entire team shared their own views and thoughts for the same, so in between speaking of his vision for the theatrical director Feroz Abbas Khan said, "I wanted to do something that was totally against my grain. I wanted to share this great piece of cinema as a huge theatre experience. For audiences in Delhi, we are setting it up on an even bigger scale than Mumbai." Whereas, Manish Malhotra who has designed a record breaking six hundred plus costumes for the musical adds, "The costumes reflect the traditions and tehzeeb of the Delhi Sultanate.</div>
