Azad, Union Minister of Health & Family Welfare visited the five year old
rape victim who is admitted in All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New
Delhi. The child was shifted from Swami Dayanand Hospital to AIIMS last evening
.
The Minister also met the parents of the child and assured them of all assistance and best possible medical care. Later, Shri Azad had a detailed discussion with the team of medical experts and doctors who had operated upon the child. Shri Azad directed them to keep a close watch, constantly monitor the child’s situation and lead no stone unturned to extend the best possible medical care for her speedy recovery. The doctors were hopeful that the child would stabilize soon, come out of the crisis and recover.
