Amethi: Giving a new turn to the battle of Amethi, BJP candidate Smriti Irani filed her nomination here. Just after filing her nomination, she attacked on her opponent and Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi and said that his own party did not have faith in his abilities to name him the PM candidate.
According to source, she filed three sets of nomination before district magistrate Jagatraj Tewari office.
Earlier she took part in puja and havan performed by her at party office here. After this, she organizes a road show to show her strength here.
Massive crowds of people and her supporters gathered in her road show. Irani reiterated her commitment and determination for the battle of Amethi and said that Rahul Gandhi is her main opponent here and not the Kumar Vishwas, who is B-team of Congress.
She said that people of Amethi are going to script history and Rahul Gandhi would lose the election as people have set their mind for the same.
