New Delhi: Dr Udit Raj today presided over the coordination meeting with the senior officials of Delhi Jal Board and Senior Party officials at his Residence, T-22, Atul grove Road to discuss and solve the water related problems of the North West Delhi. Dr.Raj instructed the officials to immediately look into the maintenance of pipelines, solve the problems related to leakages, check the complaints related to corruption and sternly asked them to heed to the complaints of the local residents.
Shri Gugan Singh, MLA from Bhawana raised the issue of massive leakages in the area reportedly which has filled up a pond. Dr. Raj reacting to this, asked the officials to submit the report regarding the expenditure of money on various maintenance projects in the last one year. Dr. Raj also asked the officials to submit the schedule of water tankers for the next one month so that he can personally monitor the problems related to water tankers.
Mr. R.S. Negi, Chief Engineer, Water Project , Mr. R.S. Meena, Chief Engineer , West, Delhi Jal Board were among the senior officials present at the meeting. The meeting was attended by 18 other senior officials of Delhi Jal Board , Councillors of the area and Senior Staff members Mrs. Rekha Vohra and Mr. CP Soni from Dr. Udit Raj’s office.
The meeting is a part of series of meetings Dr. Udit Raj has planned in order to solve the problems related to the basic amenities of North West Delhi.
