On the occasion of 4th World Toilet Day, 19th Nov’16, Roca along with We Are Water foundation invites everyone pledge againstopen defecation.
The first toilets were manufactured around 4,000 years ago but still more than 450 million people in India defecate in the open.
Roca
has undertaken the initiative to raise awareness about the issue and end the
culture of open defecation in this country. The theme for this year's World
Toilet Day is to stop the practice of open defection by increasing
the number of toilets and providing access to basic sanitation and hygiene.
Keeping
in sync with this theme, Roca along with We are Water foundation comes together
for an activity where everyone is invited to pledge their support by
symbolically building toilets, as they make them where there are none in
reality.
Taking
about the initiative Mr.PauAbellóPellicer, Managing Director, Roca
