Mann Ki Baat: PM mentioned the 21st Century-Born who will Vote First Time in LS Elections
Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation in his first of his Mann Ki Baat for the year 2019. PM focused on the many issues mentioning of those voters  whose would be the first time those born in the 21st century in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

PM said that this year, our Country will undergo Lok Sabha elections. The first time ever, young persons born in the 21st Century will exercise their Right to Vote in the Lok Sabha Elections. They face the opportunity to shoulder responsibilities pertaining to the Country. They have embarked upon the journey of being partners in Nation building. The time has come for a confluence of individual dreams and the Nation’s dream.

PM also spoke about Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose in his  52nd edition of his radio programme, Mann Ki Baat. Remembering the contribution of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, Modi said that he was a 
great hero and soldier and a skilled organiser and hailing his role in the freedom struggle.

PM recalled his slogans like  “Dilli Chalo”, “Tum mujhe khoon do main tumhe aazadi doonga,” which influenced the people of India and reckoned them. 

PM indicated a connection to Bose with himself and said that Netaji had a strong affinity for the radio and that he had also chosen to communicate with him countrymen over the radio.

PM recalled to his cleanliness mission started on  October 2, 2014 and said for the memorable journey together to clean our country and to get rid of open defecation. PM said that due to the unequivocal support from the people of India, today India is moving towards liberation from defecation in the open much prior to October 2, 2019, so that we may pay our homage to Bapu on his 150th birth anniversary.
