With announcement of Schedule for 17th Lok Sabha elections by Election Commission of India, now the stage is all set for the celebration of the largest festival of democracy in the world.....Yes the 17th Lok Sabha elections Schedule will be held in seven phases from 11th April to 19th May.
In the election in which Ninety crore electorates of 29 states and 7 Union territories will casts their votes to choose the 17th Lok Sabha of the country. Counting will be held on the 23rd of May.
Apart from the 17th Lok Sabha elections in the country, Assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh have also been announced. With the announcement of the schdule of election, the Model Code of Conduct has come into force in the entire country.

Phase 1-11 April- in 20 States
Phase 2-18 April- in 13 States
Phase 3-23 April- in 14 States
Phase 4-29 April- in 09 States
Phase 5-06 May- in 07 States
Phase 6-12 May in 07 States
