Election process is begins for the 3rd phase of Polling for 117 Constituencies across 13 States and 02 Union Territories under the Election 2019 moves in the country.
It is to be noted that the third Phase is biggest as it covers 117  Parliamentary Constituencies in single phase out of 07 phases of the election.
In the third phase of the election, over 18 crore 85 lakh voters to decide fate of 1640 candidates will cast their votes.
Over 2 lakh 10 thousand polling booths have been prepared in place for smooth conduct of polls in third phase of the election.
It is to be noted that the under the Election 2019, the world’s largest electoral exercise began this month in India which will concludes with  seven phases over a 38-day period.
As the election is on full swing, the results for the entire exercises will be announced on May 23. In the major democratic exercises in the world, nearly 900 million people are eligible to vote. 
The Lok Sabha Elections 2019 will be conducted across the country in seven phases. The first phase of polls were held on April 11 when 20 states and two UT went for polls.
According to the schedule declared by the Election Commission of India, the third, fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh phases will witness citizens voting for 115, 71, 51, 59, 59 seats, respectively.
