Holi Gujiya Recipe: Prepare At Your Home the Tasty Gujiya
Holi 2024:  Holi 2024, the day for which people wait eagerly and now it has come to celebrate with full ferver and enthusiasm. Holi is not only to enjoy only with colours and masti, but it has also a reason to take the delicious recipe to enjoy. 
In fact, the Holi can't be imagined only with the fervor and colour of Holi without the the tasty Gujiya....Yes the Colour of Gujiya is the important part of the celebration of Holi. Gujiya is a popular North Indian sweet of a crisp, flaky pastry and it add more flavour and excitement in the taste of Holi.

Ingredients: 

  • Refined flour-100 gms
  • Chironji-20 gms
  • Desicated coconut-20 gms
  • Khoya-50 gms
  • Cardamom powder-10 gms
  • Desi ghee- For frying
  • Desi ghee for dough-20 ml
  • Saffron-1 gms
  • Sugar-100 gms
  • Raisins-10 gms
  • Pista-10 gms
  • Rose petal Silver verq-For decoration


Method:

  • In a kadhai prepare the  gujiya filling with Chironji, Coconut powdr, Khoya, Saffron, Pista, Cardamom, raisins.
  • Prepare dough with flour desi ghee and water.
  • Rest the dough for at least two hours.
  • Make round balls and roll it like disc.
  • Make disc in half and fill it with stuffing.Closed the corners and give gujiya shape.
  • Fry in desi ghee.
  • Glaze with sugar syrup and garnish with pista flakes.
