Birmingham: Indian cricket team has once again created history once again under the captainship of Mahendra Singh Dhoni. In the final of Champions trophy, Dhoni and company defeated host England in the final by five runs and clinched the trophy keeping all speculations aside.

It was a golden moment for the India as it had shared the title in 2002 with Sri Lanka. It was essential for the India to win the trophy and the moment came when India bagged the trophy after defeating England in the interesting final.
India chased a total of 129 and achieved the target by losing only four wickets in 20 overs.
India’s new hope Ishant Sharma changed the match by taking two wickets of Morgan-33 and Bopara-30 in consecutive deleveries after both have become a threat for India for their 64 runs partnership.
However Indian start was not so shining as it was struggling 66 for five initially. After this Virat Kohli and others decorated the Indian inningsw where Kohli remained the top scorer with 43 runs and Ravindra Jadeja scored unbeated 35 of 25 balls. With the Indian flashing batting, India made 129 for seven in 20 matches.
Jadeja took two important wickets also with R Ashwin also taken two wickets. Both the bowlers forced England inning as struggling at 46 for four in ninth over of England innings.
With the magnificent performance with bat and bowl, Jadeja adjudged as man of the match.
