New Delhi: In a bid to explore the hidden facts and beauty of the North East Area, the much awaited North East Festival begins in a impressive function in the capital. During an autumn of focus on North East India, where New Delhi has witnessed several specific small windows to the region, North East Festival 2013, opens the complete North East India to people of the Capital.
The IGNCA ground turned a colorful arena as all the performer from the eight states showcased their traditional dance in the capital. The dance performances included, Wangla dance, Manipuri Dholchalam, Tripura Labang Bumoni, Sikkim,Arunachal and Mizoram. Drums, dhols and many more instruments used for the traditional performances and more.
