New Delhi: BJP’s Ms Meera Aggarwal and Ms Rekha Gupta today filed nomination for the posts of member of Standing Committee of North Delhi Municipal Corporation at the office of municipal secretary.
Today was the last date for filing nomination. The election for these posts will be held on January 9, 2014, at the meeting of North Delhi Municipal Corporation.
The unopposed election of these two leaders is pre-decided as there are only two vacancies.
These vacancies created after Standing Committee Chairman Mr. Ramkishan Singhal and Leader of the House. Mahinder Nagpal resigned from their posts following their election as MLA to Delhi Assembly.
