Dhaka: And now stage is all set for a challenging final between the two closest neighbors like India and Srilanka in the T20 international to be scheduled on April 6. Dhoni and Company confirms its entry into final by defeating South Africa in the semi final held at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium here.
In the semi final match, it was Virat Kohli who knocked a unbeaten 72 runs which contributed a major part in 6 wicket winning against South Africa.
South Africa won the toss and decided to bat first and made a total 172 for four. It was skipper Far Du Plesis who contributed satisfactory 58 runs in total score. Beside him, Hashim Amla made 22, Davil Miller remained not out for 22 run with JP Duminy for 45 run.
Ravishandran Ashwin remained once again Indian Hero for bowling and take 3 wicket for 22 runs.
However India chased the total score successfully and defeats the South Africa in the semi final. Certainly the score of Virat Kohli played crucial role from India side in achieving the target. Rohit Sharma contributed 24 runs, Yuvraj Singh 18 with Suresh Raina made 21 runs.
