New Delhi: The festivities continued at Dilli Haat Janak Puri with Ashok Mastie's performance, which was part of a series of festivals held every weekend at all three Dilli Haats under the banner, Dilli Haat Utsav. Delhi Tourism in collaboration with Department of Art, Culture and Languages has been organising the Dilli Haat Utsav. This festival not only to promotes cultural tourism but also ushers in a new wave of vibrancy in the city.
Sunday came alive to the melodious music performance by heartthrob, Ashok Mastie, who drew large number of people from their homes to the sought after cultural destination of west Delhi-- Dilli Haat Janak Puri. The evening began with an elaborate cultural presentation, which included dance in praise of Lord Ganesha followed by a choir group performance by school children of MRV school. Different dance groups and singers also showcased their talent before Ashok Mastie's musical entertainment.
The innovative concept of Dilli Haat Utsav has picked up since its inception and has offered people just the right dose of weekend entertainment, which is beyond cinema and malls. Every weekend is a celebration and takes the people far away to a land of entertainment and cultural delight-- Dilli Haat. Today's artist, Ashok Mastie is an established name in the Punjabi music industry and his performance received an energetic response from the people gathered at the venue.
