The glorious collections of famous fashion designer Ritu Beri were displayed at the ongoing 18 Degree Festival. On the second day at 18 Degrees Festival continued the zeal and gusto at the Shillong State Library venue with various competitions to encourage local talent. While B-Boying competition and photography exhibitions were a hit with the audience, the bike stunts performance by a team if professionals enthralled everyone there.
Famous graphic novelist Orijit Sen, on the other hand, conducted a workshop for the local budding talent to help them learn the nuances of combining the art of storytelling and graphics in a seamless flow. Noted actor and director Jayant Kriplani inaugurated the workshop and gave a session on the finer nuances of scriptwriting.
It ended with a spectacular fashion show where fashion industry’s first Lady, Ritu Beri, and the new international favourite, Daniel Syiem showcase their collection which was received with great applause.
