New Delhi: The Dilli Haat Utsav is on full swing as the singers and dancers took to stage and filled the ambiance with cheer and enjoyment. People in large numbers had come with their families to have their weekly share of entertainment at Dilli Haats.
Dilli Haat Utsav is one of the longest ongoing festivals of Delhi Tourism, where cultural programs are conducted at all three Dilli Haats every weekend. Artists from institutions like Urdu Academy, Hindi Academy, Punjabi Academy, Sahitya Kala Parishad etc. participate and take to stage for presenting their craft. Besides being a witness to performances, the visitors are also exposed to various special Indian cuisines along with exclusive handicraft and handloom stalls at Dilli Haats.
Dilli Haat Utsav is the flagship tourism promotion festival of Delhi Tourism in collaboration with Department of Art, Culture and languages, Delhi Government. This festival began on September 13, 2014 and will continue till March 31, 2015 in the same zeal and spirit. One of many aims of this festival is to promote cultural tourism in the city and give an organised platform to artists for showcasing their talent.
