New Delhi: After remaining in the world of darkness for a long time, Faisal Khan, younger brother of Amir Khan, is all set for his comeback. He is making his comeback movie Chinar – Daastaan-E-Ishq based on a novel "Jheel Jalti Hai " by famous writer Khwaja Farooq Ranzu Shah. Set in a Kashmir which was pre terrorism, this story is about a love story.

Shot under the banner " ShagunFilms Pvt. Ltd ", the producer isRajesh R. Jain and the director is Sharique Minhaj. Shot in Mumbai's Future Studio,Goregaon(E), i around 60% of the movie is complete and the balance is scheduled to be completed in Kashmir.

Other than Faissal Khan who is returning after nine years, the other actors include Dilip Tahil, Shahbaz Khan and others on the set. In the movie the character played by Dilip Tahil is forcefully marrying off his daughter to a rich man when hero Faissal khan unites the bride with his poor friend and her lover at gun point. Shahbaz Khan plays the character of a renowned person who attends the wedding.

Producer Rajesh Jain is a businessman of Surat and is into movie production for the first time. "I liked the subject and it is different story altogether," he says.

"I am playing the character of a jilted lover. In the movie, I unite my poor friend with a rich girl who loves each other, but her father tries to forcefully marry her to a rich person," said Faissal khan.

Speaking of his comeback, Faissal Khan says "I want to do good roles. I liked this story and hence I decided to do this movie. I will do movies only if it has a good script."

Sharique Minhaj, who directed the actor Faissal Khan in his last film based on Gujarat’s Godhra incident and Sharique’s last film was released “Lateef - The King of Crime” on Gujarat Mafia."The move does not show terrorism in Kashmir. Instead it is a movie set in Kashmir before terrorism. Kashmir is the land of love. Terrorism has given it a bad name," Sharique Minhaj says.
