Speaking on the occasion, Vandana said that “as a mother when I saw my own kids getting hooked to gadgets, I felt the need to step in. There was a need to create opportunities for children to interact on the physical plane, playing games, running, falling, getting muddy, climbing trees, and crying and laughing together, so that they stay grounded and empathetic to the world around them.”
According to Vandana, that's where the idea of an international kid's festival came from. “At Brainstorm Entertainment we want to create initiatives that are not just entertaining, but also engaging and creating value,” she adds.
