New Delhi: AAP has said that party wants to tell the Prime Minister in clear terms that it is not afraid of any probe into its funds and in place of his sarcastic remarks, Mr Modi should translate them and take an initiative to ensure transparency in political funding in the country.

It would have been better had the Prime Minister devoted a sentence or two in his speech about how much money the BJP spent in its campaign to make him the Prime Minister.

Also the Prime Minister should come clean on what is his stand on bringing the political parties under the ambit of the Right to Information and why is his party to reveal the names of sources of 80% funds for the BJP ?

The AAP hopes Mr Modi was briefed that the AAP is the only political party in India which puts all its donations in public domain and is open to any kind of scrutiny.

The AAP has nothing to hide and wants to tell Mr Modi his government should not run away from ordering any probe into its funding and his sadistic comments on the AAP will only backfire on the BJP.
