It was shocking for entire country when Veteran Bollywood actress Sridevi passed away at the age of 54. The leading actress and Padma Shri awardee Sridevi fter suffering a cardiac arrest in Dubai. In 1996, Sridevi married Boney Kapoor, a film producer.
It is noted that Boney Kapoor is the elder brother of actors Anil Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor. Jahnvi and Khushi are the two daughters from Sridevi and Boney Kapoor.
She was in Dubai with her husband Boney Kapoor and daughter Khushi to attend the wedding ceremony of Mohit Marwah.
However Sridevi made her Bollywood debut with 'Solva Sawan' in the year in 1978 however it was Himmatwala which gave her fame with Jeetendra which gainde major commercial success and established her in the Bollywood,
Sridevi was born in August 13, 1963 as Shree Amma Yanger Ayappan. She was born in Sivakasi of Tamil Nadu but her mother was from Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh. Sridevi was comfortable in both the languages as Telugu and Tamil.
Prime Miniter Narendra Modi has expressed grief on the sudden demise of film actor Sridevi.
PM said, "Saddened by the untimely demise of noted actor Sridevi. She was a veteran of the film industry, whose long career included diverse roles and memorable performances. My thoughts are with her family and admirers in this hour of grief. May her soul rest in peace."
