Today is World TB Day and it is the occasion to recall the government's commitment to eliminate Tuberculosis by 2025 and its strategy. Tuberculosis (TB) which is an infectious disease which generally affects the lungs. However it can also affects other parts of the body and usually TB caused by bacteria named Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB).
According to the experts, most infections in the case of TB, do not have symptoms appeared and it remain difficult to diagnose initially. Expert termed it as latent tuberculosis.
