Physiotherapy has a very critical role in modern healthcare system: Pranab Mukherjee
Former President of India Pranab Mukherjee has said that Physiotherapy has a very critical role in modern healthcare system. He was addressing the 4th Physiotherapists Society’s Annual Conference  organised by Society of Indian Physiotherapists (SIP) in New Delhi. 

The Conference was marked by presence of more than 300 physiotherapy professionals across India and eleven other countries. 


 Addressing the gathering during the inauguration Chief Guest Shri Pranab Mukherjee, the Former President of India congratulated the founder members of SIP for their continuing efforts to raise the standards of Physiotherapy profession.


 Further he also stated that Physiotherapy has a very critical role in modern healthcare system.

Guest of Honor Shri Sudhansh Pant, Joint Secretary in Ministry of Health & Family Welfare spoke about the importance of regulating the healthcare professions. He assured that the Proposed Allied & Healthcare Profession Bill will get Physiotherapy its due.


Further Guest of Honor Mrs. Renu Goenka, Chancellor, GD Goenka University inaugurated the Trade Exhibition of Physiotherapy equipments and personally visited all the stalls to know the latest equipment’s & technology available in the market.

Conference comprised of various Invited Talks, Focused Symposia’s, Panel Discussions & Hands Workshops. Moreover this conference gave a platform to all professionals to share their thoughts; researches in all 84 papers were presented in term of oral and poster presentation.


This conference provided all delegates the opportunity to Collect, Collaborate and Innovate.
