Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar who won many battle in his life, succumbed to his prolonged illness and died. He was suffering from pancreatic ailment and passed away at 63. Parrikar is survived by two sons and a grandchild. 

He was a B.Tech in metallurgical engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai. It was his simplicity which always  forced even his ctiticizer also to praise him. He was known as the CM on Scooter in his State.

The facts about Parrikar is that  he  never avoid to discharging his duty under the critical medical treatment stage, however many people raise certain question mark for the same. 

He had been remained  six-time MLA  and popular among the people of Goa. When he was called in center to serve as a Defence Minister in Narendra Modi Cabinet, he presented for the same.

It is noted that Parrikar joined the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) at a young age. Due to his dedication and his skills, soonhe became a mukhya shikshak (chief instructor) in the final years of his schooling. 

Parrikar was elected for the first time to the Legislative Assembly of Goa in 1994 from the BJP.During  2014 General Elections, when it was the magic of Narendra Modi in the country, BJP won both the Lok Sabha seats in Goa.

If you remember the early of 2014 Election and selection for the face of BJP for the General Election 2014, then it was manohar Parrikar who proposed the name of Narendra Modi as the prime ministerial candidate during the Party convention in Goa. 

He  was born on 13th December, 1955. He was a IITian and passed B.Tech from IIT Mumbai. He was famous in Goa and known for his simplicity.

Parrikar served as a Rajya Sabha MP from November 2014 to September 2017. His simplicity and dedication to the work always enchanted even rivals also.
