On the ball of Sandeep Lamichhane  and Gill, Shubman Gill playes well short and he was safe and there was no any danger for batsman. But as it has been said, if the days are not supportive for you, you could suffer a lot. And the same things happened with the Shubman Gill when he played well the ball and it was certain a boundary but  Kagiso Rabada stopped the ball in impressive manner with  making a full-body dive to his left.

It was the over confidence for Gill, that he assumed that it will not be easy for fielder to thrown and there was not a chance for the run out. But it remained a mistake for Gill and he slowed donw his running between the wicket and he declared run out.

However it taken some time for umpires to declare his run out as the third umpire first checked Rabada’s attempt finally it was clear that Gill hadn’t grounded his bat when Lamichhane disturbed the woodwork at the non-striker’s end. (Video credit- VIVO IPL)
