Nuakhai Juhar: Vice President, PM Modi extends greeting to farmers on joy of new harvest season

Nuakhai Juhar is an ancient festival for the worship of foodgrain in which people celebrates our farmers' hard labour and their joy of new harvest season. 

Nuakhai Juhar is one of the major festival celebrated mainly in celebrated in Odisha, Chhattisgarh  and surrounding area. People celebrate the  Nuakhai Juhar basically to pay honor the handwork of the farmers and it is celebrated as a agricultural festival. 

In a bid to celebrate and enjoy the Nuakhai Juhar festival, people use to worship food grains and enjoy with making special dishes on the occasion. 

The Vice President of India, The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi  has extended their good wishes to the people on the auspicious occasion of Nuakhai Juhar.
