New Delhi: On the pre-eve occasion National Day of China (1st October) and Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti (2nd October) to give a new horizon to the relationship between India and China. A special traditional-cultural evening was organized by India-China Society at Constitution Club, New Delhi.
The highlight of cultural evening was Ganesh Vandna in Tadditional Kathak-Dance form and Rajasthani Folk Dance enlighted the audience.
Despite a lot of steps to boost up the bilateral relationship between both the countries, there are a lot of things has to be done from both the side. However in terms of cultural and traditional point of view, both the countries have today come together to improve the bilateral relationship in cultural point of view. The current move, organizes by India China Society will certainly help both the counties to start a new dawn and boost up the old tie up between both the countries.
Yash Sharma, General Secretary of India China Society said "The event is going to play crucial role as the expert and dignitaries from both the countries will highlight the issues and possibilities which can be beneficial for the better relationship between the countries".
Noted politician Bubhneshwar Kalita (Member of Parliament and President, Assam Pradesh Congress Committee) and president of India China Society toldthat Society was founded in 1981which was envisioned by then Prime Minister of India Smt. Indira Gandhi and it was led by very senior Congress leader Late Sh. B.N.Pandey (Member of Parliament and Governor of Orissa). The society has been working towards the better relationship between both the countries.
Puneet Manchanda treasurer of the society said cultural bonding is the best way to explore further, he said that folk dance no limitations of boundaries and territories.Patron of the society
