New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit stated that her government has taken a historic decision to grant ownership rights. She further stated that her government has opened a residential school exclusively for the weaker sections such as SC/OBC and orphans to provide quality education for free. The government is committed to ensure advancement of weaker sections and enable them to occupy the highest posts in administrative services and other elite services.

Dikshit further stated that the new community centre would be constructed over an area of 2140 sq. meter with an estimated cost of ` 3.75 cr. The land has been provided by the DUSIB and the funds have been released by the Trans Yamuna Development Board. She expressed confidence that the new community centre would provide relief to the residents of Trilokpuri in organizing their social functions including marriage parties at reasonable rates apart from strengthening the bonds of harmony and co-existence. She also referred to the all-round development taken place in the city.
Sandeep Dikshit stated that the city government has done outstanding work during last 15 years benefitting all sections of the society including poor and vulnerable sections. It has provided world-class infrastructure which has raised the image of the city in the world. It has constructed 66 flyovers in last 10 years and has expanded infrastructure in the field of transport, education, health apart from regularizing large number of colonies.
