New Delhi: Chhath Puja celebrated with full full fervor in the national capital where people from all span of life worshiped the setting Sun today. This festival gives the message of equality, harmony, discipline and fraternity to the society. This is sacred festival of dedication, discipline, sacrifice and firmness. This festival enhances our energy of life, moral power and willpower. On the occasion, various leaders also reached at the Ghats and joined the worshippers to pay the obeisance to the setting Sun.
Nitin Gadkari, Dr. Harsh Vardhan and Pradesh President Shri Vijay Goel joined thousands of Poorvanchalis in paying obeisance to the setting Sun at Yamuna Ghat, ITO, Yamuna Pushta and Yamuna Colony.
On this occasion the aforesaid leaders prayed to the Sun God for the happiness, good health and welfare of the people of Delhi. Dr. Harsh Vardhan said that Chhath pooja is the most important festival of 50 lakh Poorvanchalis living in Delhi. Dr. Harsh Vardhan further told that BJP is the only political party which believes in Indian culture, civilization and fraternity. Other parties are busy in splitting the society and by grabbing power by hook or crook, loot the country and weaken the society.
This time the people of Delhi have made up their mind to change the society and system through the change of Government in Delhi. He has appealed to all the Poorvanchalis that they should pray to the Sun God for the happiness, prosperity, welfare and development of the society.
