New Delhi: Leader of House Mr. Subhash Arya today said that MCD (South) is including different categories in Tehbazari under the simplification of Trade License Policy. Through this step a large group of vendors will be benefited. He also announced that under Health Trade License, MCD (South) will issue license to the vendors selling prepared food items on 6/4 stalls. This policy will bring transparency and provide new business opportunities to the people.
The Standing Committee of Municipal Corporation of Delhi discussed the difficulties being faced by the applicants in seeking trade/storage license under trade/Storage License Policy, 2008 in its meeting held on 05-02-2014 and gave its approval, in anticipation, to implement a simplified procedure for the grant of trade/storage license.
Accordingly, the following procedure is proposed for grant of trade/storage license under Section 417 in the Trade/Storage License Policy, 2008. Application will be received through online application system along with uploaded photograph of the applicant.
Documents to be uploaded along with application form Uploading of any one document showing legal occupancy of the applicant in the premised for which trade/storage license applied for, i.e., Property Documents, Lease Deed, Rent Deed/Receipts, MTNL Telephone Bill, Electricity Bill etc.Uploading of scanned copy of affidavit of Rs. 10/- as per Annexure; Uploading of Scanned copy of self-drawn key plan and site plan. A provisional license with the validity of 60 days will be issued immediately on depositing of requisite fee. If no deficiency is found in the application and documents submitted with the application, license will be issued within 60 days. He will also be liable to follow all other Guidelines/Obligations/Requirements provided in the existing policy. Hence, all other terms and conditions mentioned in Trade/Storage License Policy, 2008 will remain unchanged.
