New Delhi: The Union Law and Telecommunication Minister, Kapil Sibal said that you can demolish in a day what has been constructed or developed in years. He said that it takes lot of time to construct or evolve a system but that can be diminished in a few second.He was inaugurating the newly constructed double storey Community Hall at Gandhi Vihar in the Municipal Ward No. 13 falling in the Civil Lines Zone area of North Delhi Municipal Corporation.
On the occasion Kapil Sibal said that we have to grow collectively facing each and every hurdle, criticism. Our Nation has been built in the years and is still developing, we need to protect it. Mr. Sibal added that we all together need to protect with love without any aggression or abuse which has been evolved by our forefathers years back after lot of research and practical experience which is best suited to us like our constitution, we need to protect.
Presiding over the function Leader of Opposition, Mukesh Goel on the occasion said that this Community Hall has fulfilled the 25 years long pending demand of the citizens of the area. This project has been completed in a record time of 16 months. He further said that the exterior finish of the building is of permanent nature, so it can be maintained easily and its aesthetics can be maintained for the longer period.
Goel said since I took over the constituency the progress has taken the momentum including seeking land for this Community Hall from DDA. The other long pending demand of laying sewer line in the area is also being addressed by beginning of the work. These efforts brought results only with the patronage of Mr. Kapil Sibal, who represent the constituency in the parliament.
Municipal Commissioner Praveen Gupta giving details of the project informed that the dabble storey Community Hall has been constructed in an area of 1100 sqm. at a cost of Rs. 2.06 crore, which comprises 2 halls, 8 services rooms besides all other essential services and facilities required to organise a function comfortably.
