New Delhi: Bollywood Heartthrob ‘Arjun Kapoor’ charmed the youth of Delhi and took the city by storm. The star was in the National Capital, along with co-star the stunning Alia Bhatt to promote his latest film, ‘2 States’. The duo interacted with the media at Ducit Devarana.
Talking about the tamillian accent in the film Alia said,” My role didn’t required much efforts for the accent, as I just learnt few lines to talk with my reel parents” whereas talking with Arjun Kapoor he said, “It was one of the finest and role done by me and I loved working with Alia” he also added,” This movie had a soft touch for me as I always see the novel 2 States on my mother’s shelf”.
‘2 States’ is a romantic drama that talks about a love story between a Punjabi boy from Delhi and a Tamilian girl from Chennai. Featuring Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, '2 States' is directed by Abhishek Varman.
Other cast ensembles Ronit Roy, Amrita Singh, Shiv Kumar Subramaniam and Revathy. Music is given by Shankar Ehsaan Loy. Produced by Karan Johar and Sajid Nadiwala and distribution rights are being controlled by UTV Motion Pictures.
2 States is releasing on 18th April 2014.
