New Delhi: The recent developments have shown that there is a drift in the vote bank of Aam Admi Party, due to its false promises and the Congress Party due to its 10-year misrule and rampant corruption because of which there is a quantum jump in BJP’s position in the North-West Delhi Parliamentary Constituency.
A significant development in the last three days is that hundreds of office bearers and workers of Aam Admi Party, Congress Party and Bahujan Samajwadi Party have joined BJP in the presence of Dr. Udit Raj. Dr. Udit Raj said that there is despair on all fronts and people are feeling helpless and choked. It is only the Bhartiya Janata Party which respects the feelings of all the sections of the society and is always eager to resolve their problems. It is our goal to make all sections of people prosperous, self-dependent, educated and healthy and not to divide and disintegrate the society.
BJP will give special emphasis to the problems of the youth of the country to make them capable to handle their social and family problems. On the other hand, Congress Party is all the time busy in filling up its coffers and is least bothered about the problems of the people like unemployment, housing, health care, security of women and terrorism. Congress Party’s only goal is to be glued to power.
Dr. Udit Raj further said that from the point of view of development and facilities, this area is quite backward, even though it is a part and parcel of Delhi for which the Congress Party and its MP from the area, Krishna Tirath are solely responsible. Even though work on the Metro rail commenced in this area for the first time 12 years ago, this line has not been extended further. Not only this, there is no Government transport connectivity from the Metro station to the rural areas nor there is any proper private transport system.
Not only high schools and colleges but even the primary schools in the area are in a very bad shape. For a population of about 25 lakh people in the area, there is only one Government hospital and even there modern facilities do not exist. The crime graph has gone very high and the senior citizens as well as the women-folk are not feeling safe and secure. What is this development model of the Congress Party because of which most of the people are feeling insecure, unhappy and deprived of medical facilities?
