Ludhiana: After the recent expansion of PVR Cinemas in Mohali and Chandigarh, PVR launch of its third property in further strengthening its presence in Punjab. The seven screen multiplex in Fountain Chowk, Ludhiana spreads across an area of 30, 020 sq ft. with a seating capacity of 1016.
PVR sees Punjab as a potential market to expand its business propositions and with this opening, the screen count of PVR in Punjab rises to 42 screens with a total of seven properties in the cities of Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Chandigarh (Union territory) and Mohali.
Mr Gautam Dutta, Chief Operating Officer, PVR Limited, said, "Punjab has always been an important market for us due to an overwhelming response from the people. After the huge success of the recent launches in Mohali and Chandigarh, we plan to expand our footprints in the city of Ludhiana. PVR sees a huge untapped consumer base for a quality cinema watching experience and hope to accomplish our commitment towards the state while adding another multiplex in the kitty of Punjab.”

On the launch actor Varun Dhawan added, "Ludhiana has a huge appetite for entertainment.
