New Delhi: Dr. Udit Raj today met Vice Chairman of DDA, Shri Balvinder Kumar and the senior officials of DDA in the morning to discuss and find solutions to some of the major issues of the area concerning DDA. The major issues discussed were-Resettlement of evicted families at Bawana, rehabilitation of genuine displaced families of Shyam Colony in Budh Vihar, Construction of road at Pal Colony in North Rithala, construction of a community centre in Rohini, Encroachment of land in D-block, Pratap Vihar by the land Mafia.
The decisions taken in the meeting involved fixing a three week timeframe to operationalize the allotments for evicted families at Bawana, suitable action on
the concerned authorities of Pratap Vihar to check the encroachment, preparation of proposal to construct Community centre at Rohini and Preparation of proposal to study the feasibility of construction of road at Pal Colony in North Rithala.
Today's meeting is in continuation of various other meetings that Dr. Raj has
held with the Minister of Urban Development, LG,Delhi; officials of Jal Board, DDA etc to find suitable solutions to the basic problems of people of Delhi.
