New Delhi: In his letter, the LG has sought permission to invite the BJP to form its government, but is silent on the fact that the same party had declined the offer in the same Vidhan Sabha on December 12, citing a lack of majority.
The LG has made it clear that he wants the BJP to form its government and has even gone ahead and mentioned how much time he intends to give the BJP to prove its majority in the House, in the eventuality of this party accepting his offer of government formation.
The LG's letter, followed by the all out attempts by the BJP to poach MLAs of other parties, which has been exposed by a video sting of its Delhi state unit vice-president, shows that desperate efforts are being made to install a BJP government by hook or by crook.
