New Delhi: Even as the Indian forces face hostile incursions at the Line of Actual Control, the BJP led Government is busy extending a red carpet welcome to Chinese President Xi Jingping.
The Aam Aadmi party is disappointed that the Prime Minister did not use the word incursion in his press conference while referring to intrusion by the Chinese forces. The government should also tell the nation whether Chinese President gave any assurance on the issue when the Prime Minister raised it during their talks.
The Aam Aadmi Party expresses its concern over the situation at the LAC and over mishandling of the situation by the government. The Aam Aadmi Party feels that Modi Government must immediately make its stand clear on the issue of provocative incursions by the Chinese Army, especially at a time when their head of the state is on a visit to India.
As the Chinese Army has deliberately chosen the timing to embarrass India, the government is duty bound to articulate its position on the issue now, without any further delay.
We also want to remind the BJP and the government that their leaders were very vocal on the issue when they were in opposition and tone and tenor of these leaders has completely changed after assuming power. What shocks us the most is the fact that first the Home Minister of the country sought to underplay the issue and now the Prime Minster refrained from using the word incursion while referring to the issue?
