New Delhi: Bollywood actor Rajpal yadav has said that movie ‘Bhopal: A Prayer for Rain’ contains interwoven stories of people in India and US as they face dilemmas of life time in the months leading to the biggest Industrial disaster in human history that claimed 10,000 innocent lives within a few hours. This film is inspired by real events.

Recently Rajpal Yadav with Tannishtha Chatterjee, an Indian actress best known for her performances in British films, were in Capital to promote their Bhopal based film Bhopal: A prayer for Rain.

While addressing media Rajpal Yadav told “this movie is not just a film for us, it was an experience of that tragedy that held 30 years ago. Yes after 30 years we are screening the lives of Bhopal victims & that tragedy that how did it take place & people lost their lives, families, relatives etc. I am really happy by working in this film, I am very lucky to have this movie. Thanks to Ravi Kumar, our director for casting me.”

Well if we talk about Tannishtha Chatterjee, she also expressed & shared her journey of the film “I am playing a role of Dilip (Rajpal Yadav) in the film, the beginning of the story is nice, there is no disaster like happens in the end. This film is not sad or depressing type of, story of Bhopal tragedy is shown in a very nice manner, I hope if you watch it, you will love it. Comedy is also used in the film. We are glad to see good response from USA; it was released a month ago there, expecting same from our motherland.”
