QZ 8501- Air Asia flight was on its way to Singapore from the Indonesian city of Surabaya when it got missing from its way.
The aircraft, flight number is QZ 8501 and it lost contact with the Jakarta air traffic control tower.
The Airbus 320-200 had 155 passengers (138 adults, 16 children and a baby) and six crew members on board.
The passengers on board comprise 149 Indonesians, three Koreans, one Singaporean, one Briton and one Malaysian.
It is noted that earlier Malaysia has witnessed two same events when it lost its flight and meets many causalities. Its flight MH370 went missing on March 8 on a trip from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing with 239 passengers and crew on board.
On July 17, Flight MH17 was shot down over Ukraine, killing all 298 people on board.
