New Delhi: Former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda said that when Obama came to India, there was a huge line of people like Ambanis and Adaanis waiting for him, had it been the UPA government the freedom fighters would have been there.
He was addressing for the Congress Candidated Sharmistha Mukherjee from Greater Kailash assembly constituency held a series of programs and public meetings in the constituency including Shahpur Jat, NRI Complex, M Block Market, C.R Park & Alaknanda. Sh. Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Former CM of Haryana also addressed public meeting in her support.
Speaking at a Public Debate at Arya Samaj Mandir GK-II with other candidates from the constituency, Sharmishtha Mukherjee asked “why do you people feel that the Congress party is out of competition?” She added that some people say that there are just two competitive parties i.e Bhartiya Janta Party and Aam Admi Party. If this would have been the scenario then probably people wouldn't have gathered here. She further added that our leaders always get a warm welcome from people.
Bhupinder Singh Hooda also addressed a Public Meeting Shahpur Jat in support of Sharmistha Mukherjee. Hooda said that when Obama came to India, there was a huge line of people like Ambanis and Adaanis waiting for him, had it been the UPA government the freedom fighters would have been there. He also narrated Gujarat Model and said that the pension is 400 per month there whereas in congress ruled state it has been raised from 200 to 1500 and if we win here, we will raise it to 2000 rupees.
