Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal inaugurated 28th Garden Tourism Festival organised in Delhi.
The serene place has more than 325 species of plants with various  attractions such as court of palm, court of cacti, herbal gardens, tree museum, topiary gardens, Zen gardens, aromatic gardens and butterfly zone. In recent times, garden tourism has become a niche concept that involves travel to botanical gardens and place which are famed in history of gardens. From climbers, creepers to even Bonzai and indoor potted plants, many popular and rare varieties are presented at this three day event. Nurseries from various organizations such as DDA, PWD, NDMC, SDMC, EDMC, DMRC, Northern Railway, Aditya Birla, Manav Rachna Institute and Delhi Jal Board are also participating at competitions in different categories.
